THE UPWARD PATH

IN LIFE, WE’RE ALL GON HAVE TO TRAVEL THE PATH THAT WE’RE GIVEN,

Whether it’s Joseph or we’re in a king David position,

Whether it’s prison or the Valley of Death is our Mission,

If we use Wisdom with ourDecisions, we’ll find Ascension!

No one will ever make it on this Path without a Trial,

But sometimes, it feels like we struggle mile after mile!

While we race, how can the drama we face be reconciled?

Pitfalls and speedbumps are there to prove that we’re versatile!

Though it may seem that I am walking alone on my Journey,

I’ve got to learn I’m being Tested to see if I’m Worthy!

I’ve got to Earn my Lane, be Burley, Let Nothing Deter Me!

Prove that I’m Sturdy and Firmly Show that worry Won’t Turn Me!

But we’re not cursed to wander on this Path without an Atlas,

We’re Guided by a Loving Father, and He’s Never Callous,

But it takes Practice with the Map when imbalance attacks us,

Can’t get Distracted ’cause Slackness on this Path is Disastrous!
